Last chance to sing choral classics with Music on the Hill this summer! The final Summer Sing! takes place Tuesday evening, August 23, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Wilton Presbyterian Church. Music on the Hill artistic director Ellen Dickinson will lead the session's two short masses: Mozart's Missa Brevis in F and Haydn's St. John of God Mass. Scores will be provided.
Music on the Hill hosts Summer Sings! on Tuesdays each August. Each session features a different work from the classical choral repertoire led by a different choral conductor. No preparation, no performance, no worries -- the audience is the chorus! Participants are invited to attend one session or many; to revisit a favorite piece of music or try something new. Singers of all backgrounds, including high school singers, are welcome.
Summer Sings! are free, with donations gratefully accepted. The church is located at the WEPCO church complex, 48 New Canaan Road (Rte. #106) in Wilton.
