Celebrate the Fall Cider Season at the New Canaan Nature Center on Saturday, September 17 from 11am to 3:00 pm.
Come and enjoy an early autumn afternoon of family fun with cider press demonstrations (on the 15s & 45s minute mark every hour), Old Fashioned Games (discover new joys by building authentic connections to the past!), Honey Bee Hive Tours (at 11:30am and 1:30pm), a pumpkin scavenger hunt, seasonal harvest crafts for kids, and even bake your own apple filled with sweet goodies!
Also enjoy some homemade butter while cooking up some corn bread on a stick over the fire. Do some taste testing of a variety of apples and local honey, plus enjoy a seasonal goodie or two at our harvest bake sale. Then fill your bellies with delicious corn dogs, grilled corn, and fresh local cider, all available for purchase.
Entry includes a cider demo ticket for the whole family and 1 apple per person (to eat or bake!).
