Seeds of Diversity Workshop for Kids on Saturday in Wilton

Wilton Historical Society presents: Seeds of Diversity Workshop this Saturday, January 14 from 11-12:30 pm

Dr. Martin Luther King’s dream was to see people of all countries, races, and religions living together in harmony. Kids will explore his dream during a workshop during which Museum Educator Lola Chen will talk about Dr. King’s ideals as the children plant seeds of different shapes, sizes, and colors, which will soon sprout side by side. The kids will be taking home their planters and watching the seeds grow. Once the plants are large enough, they can be transplanted into a pot and later to the garden. Includes snack which the children will make themselves, Birds of Pizza.

Wilton Historical Society Members $10 per child, maximum $25 per family; Non-members $15 per child, maximum $35 per family. Please register: info@wiltonhistorical.org or call 203-762-7257.

Wilton Historical Society is located at 224 Danbury Road in Wilton.
