The RSO Benefit Concert at Ridgefield Playhouse Features Wilton Resident Chris Brubeck

Enjoy live music to support live music! The Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra is excited to present Chris Brubeck and Triple Play in a benefit concert on Saturday April 15, 2017 at the Ridgefield Playhouse at 8:00 p.m.

Grammy-nominated composer and Wilton resident Chris Brubeck (electric bass, bass trombone, and piano) along with Peter Madcat Ruth (on harmonica, guitar, jaw harp, and percussion) and Joel Brown (folk and classical acoustic guitar) comprise the band Triple Play. These versatile musicians have honed a vast and vivid repertoire encompassing Delta blues, Tin Pan Alley standards, New Orleans grooves, jazz gems and incisive originals. With all three contributing vocals, Triple Playdelivers an epic sojourn through American music unlike any other band on the scene! Silent auction item highlights include two vacations! The first is a Tauck Danube Reflections River Cruise, a 12-day trip along the magnificent Danube with two-night stays in Prague and Vienna and featuring travel experiences ashore in Regensburg,  to Nürnberg, Passau, Linz, Cesky Krumlov, Grein and Bratislava.  The second is a InnSeason Resorts summer vacation week at Surfside Resort in Cape Cod.
