World Famous Hungarian Musicians Cantor Greg Nogradi, the 2016 winner of the The Jewish Pavarotti Award, and Gyorgy Lakatos, the 2016 winner of The Goldenhand Award.

Spend an afternoon listening to these world class musicians as they take you on a journey from Budapest to Broadway!

Greg Nogradi is a most highly appraised cantor of his generation, both by experts and audiences. At the same time, Cantor Nogradi boasts one of the most significant voices ever introduced in Jewish Music. Born into an Ashkenazi family, Cantor Nogradi was already recognized for his compelling dramatic tenor voice and passionate performance style during his university years both in Jerusalem and in Budapest. Therefore, all roads led to the vocal class of Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in Budapest and Music Academy Stuttgart for the young graduate in cultural management. After winning three major international competitions, Cantor Nogradi found himself in the Verona Arena from one day to another, and subsequently sang five new leading roles annually at various opera theaters of the world until the turn of the millennium. After serving six years as the cantor of the Frankel Synagogue in Budapest, Cantor Nogradi was elected Europe’s Number one cantorial voice at the European Cantors Convention.

Gyorgy Lakatos was born in Budapest, Hungary and is a world renowned musician. The guitar and cimbalom are his proficiency.In 2016 he received the award for NO.1 Guitar Player in Europe and the Hungarian best guitar player prize, the Golden Hand Award. He is also songwriter and has traveled throughout the world entertaining many audiences. Gyorgy Lakatos redefines music with his supernatural talent.
