Music on the Hill presents two jewels of the Classical era -- the Mozart Missa brevis in F and Haydn's Little Organ Mass -- on Sunday, March 19, at 3:00 p.m. at the Wilton Presbyterian Church, 48 New Canaan Road in Wilton.
The concert features the Festival Chorus performing with soloists, strings, and with featured artist Ellen Dickinson, organist, playing the extended organ solo that gives the Haydn Missa brevis its popular name. Artistic director David H. Connell conducts.
The concert's musical selections share the qualities esteemed by the Age of Reason that produced them: clarity, rationality, and calm. They will be performed here in a singular space for music that combines understated elegance with vibrant acoustics.

Music on the Hill promotes engagement with music by offering workshops, a Summer Sings series, and four performing ensembles -- Festival Chorus, Chamber Chorus, Summer Chorus, and the Jubilate Ringers handbell choir -- all under the dynamic leadership of its artistic directors, David H.
