Trackside will host a free Study Skills Seminar for Wilton parents on May 16

Trackside Teen Center is proud to host a free seminar, 7 Skills All Students Need for a Successful Transition to a New Grade, open to all Wilton parents.

In this informative and highly interactive workshop, parents will learn seven evidence-based techniques they can use to help their student stay focused, complete homework with purpose, achieve higher confidence, and get better results in school as they transition into the next grade.

This no-cost workshop will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2017, 7:00 pm, at Trackside Teen Center, 15 Station Road, Wilton, CT 06897.

“We are pleased make this free presentation available to parents, just at the time they are thinking about preparing their students for a new school year,” said Amy Nassef, Program Director at Trackside. “This workshop will give parents an understanding of how they can successfully transition their student to the next grade – and what to expect.”

The workshop is free, but registration is requested. Click here to register.

Attendees will learn the answer to these and other questions:

  • What are the 7 skills all students need to be successful in school?
  • How should they prepare for tests?
  • How can your student eliminate distractions when they study?
  • How can your student avoid feeling overwhelmed?
  • Should your student study for a subject all in one shot, or over time?
