American Marketing Association – Fairfield County Chapter Names Richard Rapp, President

The Fairfield County Chapter of the American Marketing Association announced that Richard Rapp has been elected to their board of directors and will serve as President. Mr. Rapp most recently served as President-elect. Mr. Rapp will lead the chapter to serve as a professional forum to deliver relevant programming, networking and professional development opportunities to the marketing community of Southwestern CT.

Mr. Rapp joins newly elected president-elect, Carlene Armetta, and Frank Moriya, who was re-elected as secretary and treasurer.

"I'm really excited to welcome Rich and the new leadership team to the AMA-Fairfield County Chapter Board and I'm confident they'll continue to serve the marketing community of Southwestern Connecticut and its allied professions with distinction as they remain focused on providing outstanding events, potent networking opportunities and unique learning experiences -- the hallmarks of our Chapter," said David Reyes-Guerra, who served as President for the 2014-15 season and will remain on the Board as Immediate Past-President.

Mr. Rapp is president of Altamira, an award-winning communications consultancy located in Westport, CT. Altamira is committed to the notion that even the most complex communications challenge can be solved with a single, compelling idea. "This is sure to be a productive year for the chapter. We've added a number of new, talented volunteers and we are committed to adding value to our growing membership," said Richard Rapp.
