Wilton Y Sends Swimmers Off to Olympic Trials

Fabulous afternoon sending off our Wilton Y Wahoo swimmers to the Olympic Trials, Paralympic trials, Australian Olympic trials and an athlete representing his country, Antigua, at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janiero!

Congratulations! The Wilton Y Wahoos will be sending five swimmers to the U.S. Olympic Trials in Nebraska. Ky-lee Perry, one of the top female recruits in CT, a senior from Brien McMahon High School in Norwalk who will attending North Carolina State in the fall will join four of the Wilton Y Wahoos college athletes Verity Abel (sophomore at Duke), Stephen Holmquist (freshman at Michigan), Ian Rainey (sophomore at Michigan) and Eric Ronda (junior at Harvard). David Gelfand (junior at Weston High School) will be attending the largest Paralympic trials in U.S. history held June 29 – July 2 in Charlotte, NC.

Noah Macoll-Gomes (high school junior from Astoria Queens at the Academy of American Studies, Queens, NY) will be representing his country, Antigua, at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janiero. Hugo Sykes (senior from Weston High) will be attending the University of Denver and has qualified for the Australian Olympic trials.
