SilverSource Awards Nominations Are Now Open Through September 1st

Nominations for the first annual SilverSource Awards are now open.  SilverSource – a leader in advocating for the needs of older adults and their families– is accepting nominations of volunteers, organizations, groups or businesses that are improving the lives of Fairfield County’s older adults.

Nominations are open through Thursday, September 1st in the following categories:

The SilverSource Community Service Volunteer Award will recognize an outstanding volunteer age 50 or over who is sharing their experience, talent and skills to enrich the lives of older adults.

The SilverSource Contribution to Community Award will recognize one individual and one organization or business providing significant improvements to the community as a place to live and retire.

Awardees will be honored in October at the SilverSource Autumn Breakfast.  The awards will shine a light on those making Fairfield County a better place to live as we all age.  There is no cost to enter, but hurry, the deadline is September 1st.  To learn more about the awards, or to submit a nomination, visit www.SilverSource.org/Awards  or call (203) 324-6584.
