Where in the World celebrates Wilton's diversity February 25-26

Wilton Economic Commission and Wilton Library’s “Where in the World” weekend celebrates Wilton's diversity February 25-26

In this photo, Lilly Hatch gets help from her aunt Mary Ridgely in placing a dot on the giant “Where in the World” map at Wilton Library.

The library and the Wilton Economic Commission are inviting families to come to Wilton Library on Feb. 25, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Feb. 26, from 1 to 5 p.m., to mark their heritage on a world map that will be set up in the gallery.

Kids also can create their own paper quilt squares based on their culture to celebrate Wilton’s diversity. The quilt will then be assembled and placed in the Children’s Library, along with the map.

There is no registration, just drop by.
