A Letter of Thanks from the Wilton Conservation Commission

To the Editor,

On behalf of the Wilton Conservation Commission I would like to thank all of the volunteers who enthusiastically participated in our Townwide Community Cleanup day held last Saturday, April 5, 2014. I would like to particularly mention the outstanding efforts from the Cub Scouts, Wilton Republican Town Committee, and the Wilton Land Trust whose numerous volunteers joined commissioners and other Town officials in this annual undertaking. Approximately 60 participants volunteered their time to help keep our town clean and as a result, we were able to remove a substantial amount of litter from our streets, parks and riverbanks.

I would like to further encourage individuals to take the time to clean up their neighborhoods. Continuing support for this annual event is proof that Wilton's residents are proud to live in a litter-free community and are willing to get their hands dirty to keep it looking great every year.

Sincerely,

Dan Berg, Chairman

Wilton Conservation Commission
