Troy Bishopp comes to Ridgefield

The Hickories is offering an interesting program next week: Pasture Management with "The Grass Whisperer."

On Thursday, September 18, beginning at 6 p.m., take a pasture walk with Troy Bishopp (thegrasswhisperer.com).  The evening includes a follow up discussion to last year’s pasture walk reviewing the pasture management changes implemented, grazing the nooks and fringes around the farm with small ruminants, and money saved from extending the grazing season by Dina Brewster.  Then, the grass whisperer will answer any questions you may have about your own grazing programs.  Like last year, expect great networking, plenty of laughs and some awesome local refreshments.
