Westport Parks and Rec to Discuss Compo Beach Improvements

Westport Parks and Recreation Commission Chairman, Charlie Haberstroh, has announced that the Parks and Recreation Commission will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, March 31 in the Town Hall Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. to discuss the Compo Beach Site Improvement Committee's recommendations for Compo Beach. The meeting will be televised on Channel 79 (Cablevision) and Channel 99 (Frontier) and will be available via videostream at www.westportct.gov

Mr. Haberstroh stated, "The Commission is anxious to move forward and make recommendations to the First Selectman so that the town can implement appropriate improvements to one of Westport's most popular recreational facilities."

The Commission's discussion will be open to public comment. To insure that it will have ample time to address the issues, the Commission requests that speakers limit their comments to 3 minutes and not replicate previous comments.
