Rowayton Arts Center's "Art in the Park" is just around the corner and you are invited to participate on Sunday, May 24th, as part of Rowayton's Memorial Day festivities!
There is still time to register (see instructions and a link below) and join Bruce Horan, Kaz Oda, Lynn Stephens Massey, Amy Kaplan, Christopher Dawson, Lesley Koenig, Pam Davis, Tom Ranges, Adrienne Mierzwa, Lois Weingarten, Patricia Jenkins,Ashley Sheen and Margaux Benoist who will be selling their art and crafts.
RAC will have a Memorial Day parade float and you are welcome to walk along and hand out cards to help our Junior Members aboard invite families to come to Pinkney Park after the parade! Everyone will be able to enjoy music by Dan Stevens and browse through the displays and booths. We also have organized art activities and free ice cream for the kids who take part.
Other notes for participating artists and crafters:
- The entertainment and activities run from noon to 3 pm. You may set up between 9 and 11 am and open for business any time after that.
- The cost for the day will be $30 and RAC will not collect a commission on any of your sales.
- We do have some racks available on a first-come, first-served basis, for hanging artwork (we currently have 3 remaining). Artists will be responsible for setting them up, putting them away and bringing their own "S" hook hanging supplies.
- Crafters, please bring your own tables and chairs.
Email the office immediately to register and secure your spot, then submit the Art in the Park application form with your $30 fee.
