Norwalk Hospital Hosts Lecture for Mothers and Young Daughters

Norwalk Hospital is hosting a popular lecture, "What Every Girl Wants to Know" on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at 6 p.m. in the Richard S. Perkin Auditorium of the hospital. 

        Diane Frankel-Gramelis, MS, CCE, adjunct health educator at Southern Connecticut State University, will lead a discussion for mothers/guardians and daughters on the physical and emotional changes of puberty.  The empowering speaker will focus on questions about puberty, physical changes, emotional changes, menstruation, and more. The program is presented free of charge as a community service.

        The program is recommended for girls, ages 9 to 12, accompanied by their mother or female guardian.  From 5:30 to 6 p.m., there will be refreshments and the attendees will have the opportunity to meet and ask questions to Norwalk Hospital pediatricians and staff in an informal setting.  The lecture by Frankel-Gramelis, will start at 6 p.m., followed by a “Q and A” session.
