New Canaan Library ushers in the holiday season with some joyful noise. The Library invites all to join in the singing when the musical group Bojanglers visits on Thursday, December 17 at 6:30 p.m. This local group of singers will perform and lead a holiday sing-along for all ages! The songbook includes winter and secular seasonal songs as well as some classic Christmas carols.
All are welcome. No registration required!
Bojanglers is an enthusiastic group of volunteers from Southern Fairfield County who love to sing. About five years ago, the group began regularly visiting local senior or assisted living communities and rehabilitation centers to provide an interactive musical experience for the residents of those facilities. To that end, the group’s musicians play guitar or other instruments to accompany the singers. Tambourines, bells, maracas for playing rhythm are supplied as well as songbooks so that everyone can sing along.
