This coming Friday, May 6th and Saturday, May 7th, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day, the Caudatowa and Ridgefield Garden Clubs will jointly host a plant sale in Ballard Garden and Greenhouse. The garden and greenhouse are located at the rear of Ballard Park. Parking is available in the lot next to the park, adjacent to CVS.
The plant sale has been held annually on Mother’s Day weekend since 1940. Proceeds are used for community improvement projects.
The sale is staffed by Garden Club members, available to provide advice and assistance. There will also be Connecticut Master Gardeners on hand to provide additional expertise.
The sale offers perennials dug from member’s own gardens, kitchen garden plants, herbs, hanging baskets, annuals, shrubs, perennials and gift containers
