Call for Christmas Singers: Music on the Hill

Music on the Hill welcomes singers for its popular "Sounds of the Season" Christmas concert. Register by Tuesday, Nov. 8th.

This is a traditional Christmas concert of the Festival Chorus and the Jubilate Ringers handbell choir performing classic carols (à la David Willcocks), Christmas songs by classical and contemporary composers, and Christmas music arranged for handbells. Artistic director Ellen Dickinson conducts.

Rehearsals are Tuesdays, 7 - 9 p.m., starting November 8. (Vote first!) Concert: Friday evening, December 16. Rehearsals and concert are at the WEPCO church complex in Wilton, 48 New Canaan Road.

About Music on the Hill

Music on the Hill offers workshops, an August Summer Sings! series, and opportunities to perform through four ensembles -- the Festival Chorus, Summer Chorus, professional Chamber Chorus, and the Jubilate Ringers handbell choir -- all under the leadership of artistic directors David H. Connell (D.M.A.) and Ellen Dickinson (M.M.). Ensembles are project-based: join for one rehearsal/concert cycle or for many. Music on the Hill is an independent non-profit organization.
