About Play for Purpose:
We’re a group of hockey players that simply love the game. We host this hockey event for an entirely different purpose – to raise monies and awareness for organizations centered around veterans, diseases and/or children in our broader community.
Since its inception in 2014, we have rasied close to $160,000, respectively (net to the charities) through a 72 hour continuous hockey game. The charities in each of the year’s events a proportionate share of the proceeds.
