The Woman’s Board of Norwalk Hospital Celebrate the 56th birthday of the Treasure House

NORWALK, Connecticut - May 17, 2017 - The Woman’s Board of Norwalk Hospital recently celebrated the 56^th birthday of the Treasure House, the thrift shop they voluntarily operate, by conducting an open house and refreshments for their customers. The Treasure House is located at 5 Isaacs Street in Norwalk. 

During the celebration, Carol Kachmarck, President of the Woman’s Board of Norwalk Hospital, presented a check for $20,000 to Norwalk Hospital President Michael Daglio, the last installment of a three-year pledge for the Forever Garden, a place where visitors, patients and staff can sit and read or talk and visit with each other. The Forever Garden is located outside the McGraw Pavilion at Norwalk Hospital. A ribbon-cutting event is scheduled to be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2017.
