Howliday Photos with ROAR Therapy Dogs at Wilton Library

Kids and their families can stop by the Children's Library at Wilton Library and have their holiday picture taken with one of the adorable ROAR therapy dogs tomorrow, Saturday, December 16 at 11:00 am.

No registration; no fee.

And, after the photos, the pups will stay at the Library for Tales to Tails!

ROAR's (Ridgefield Operation Animal Rescue) Therapy Dog Program will be bringing a therapy dog to be read to by children.  The use of trained therapy dogs in reading programs can result in children who feel comfortable reading out loud, read more often, attempt more difficult books, and look forward to reading. As they improve their literacy skills, they’re not just learning how to read, they’re learning to love to read!  Children must read independently to participate in this program.  No program charge, registration is required.

Register Now or call 203-762-6336.
