Attention Art Lovers! Rowayton Arts Center kicks off the New Year with From the RAC Studio

Rowayton Arts Center kicks off the New Year with “From the RAC Studio,” a special exhibit of work by RAC students and instructors (chaired by Suzy Aubrey, Education Director). Mark your calendar: The show opens on Sunday, January 14 (4-6pm). This exhibit is all-media, open-themed, and is a wonderful showcase of RAC talent. If you took a class in 2017, you are eligible to enter. Art will be available for purchase.

Art submissions are Monday, January 8 (4-7pm) and Tuesday January 9 (11-2). The opening reception on Sunday, January 14 is free and open to the public. Come and be inspired to discover your genius at a class at RAC. Free art demonstration with Anda Styler on Sunday, January 14 (2-4pm).

The winter session of classes begins on January 3. Interested in trying to achieve Exhibiting Member status? Drop off art for the review committee on January 18. Check the website for the latest information.

The Rowayton Arts Center is located at 145 Rowayton Avenue, Rowayton, CT. This exhibition is on view until January 28. RAC’s gallery hours are 11-5 pm, Tuesday through Saturday. RAC has been a cultural hub for almost 60 years. The RAC Art School offers year-round classes and workshops for creative people of all ages and at all levels. RAC, a not-for-profit organization, underwrites art education programs throughout Norwalk. The Art Gallery and Art School are located on the scenic bank of the Five Mile River.
