Spring has arrived at last! To celebrate, the Betts Store will throw open its doors early on Friday, April 25. There will be a spread of delicious morsels and complimentary prosecco, the better to enjoy browsing newly arrived spring offerings. Be on the lookout for uncommon gifts for all occasions, from showers and birthdays to Mother's Day and anniversaries. All items are made in the USA, many locally.
Here is just a sampling of what is new for spring at the Betts Store:
Need a very special gift for a very special young lady? Gorgeous hand-made fairy dolls will enchant any little princess and compliment her castle room. These signed, hand-made little fairies are not toys, but pieces of art. Beautifully crafted, our ethereal creatures are gowned with hand-made paper, and embellished with bits of jewelry and natural materials. Made by Wilton's own Carol Andrews.
How about a new and unusual outdoor game for some family fun? Snake Eyes Yard Dice are in stock at the Betts Store! Sturdy, solid wood 3.5" dice with natural stain and branded pips (dots) are designed to be tossed on a lawn. Six dice are packaged in a handy carry bag made of all natural jute, accompanied by a game card with directions for five different games.
Lynda Campbell's Saltbox Press of Wilton has introduced a series of new letterpress cards with her timeless designs on beautiful paper, with vibrant, unexpected ink colors. They are sold individually and boxed. The Saltbox Press annual calendar is also available, made one color at a time on Lynda's antique presses.
And don't miss - appealing little cups and mugs decorated with whimsical birds or foxes hand-made by STK Ceramics; urban chic zip bags and totes from Seltzer Goods; Red Bee Honey from Weston and many other new and delightful surprises.
The Betts Store is open Tuesday – Saturday, 10-4.
