Camp Half-Blood Fun-raiser Coming Up

Following the huge success of last summer's Harry Potter Camp, the Wilton Children's Library has planned another summer book-themed blockbuster day camp: Camp Half-Blood.

This one-day event on Thursday, August 7th from 9 AM - 5 PM, is based on the acclaimed children's series Percy Jackson and the Olympians by Rick Riordan. The morning begins with each child being claimed by a Greek god. Once the children, aka Half-Bloods, are claimed, the Oracle of Delphi will announce a prophecy to be solved throughout the day.

Half-Bloods can look forward to making their own camp T-shirts, encountering live sheep and llamas during a wool demonstration, crawling through a labyrinth, and many more Percy Jackson related activities. The camp will provide all the training a growing Half-Blood needs to survive ancient Greek monsters in our modern world!

Sign up in person - $55 per child, including lunch. Open to rising 3-6 graders. For more information please stop by the Children's Library or call 203-762-3950, x217.
