Woodcock Nature Center's Volunteer of the Month

Volunteer of the Month

Ian Magill

Ian Magill first came to the Woodcock Nature Center when he was four years old, and was a Woodcock camper for six years. In 2012, he began volunteering, feeding the birds of prey every week. During the summer of 2013, Ian organized a fundraiser for WNC, for which he organized and played quartet music in the pavilion. Just this past summer, Ian helped as a counselor-in-training at the Woodcock summer camp. He is currently a sophomore at the Hopkins School in New Haven. In addition to helping out at Woodcock, Ian enjoys playing his cello, swimming, and spending time with his mom, dad, twin brother, Theo, and his dogs, Jasper and Sadie. We can't thank him enough!
