Fairfield County Bank's Judith Corprew Provides Financial Literacy Education Through United Way

Judith Corprew, Vice President and Compliance Officer of Fairfield County Bank conducted a class on financial literacy at the Danbury Public Library. The class was part of United Way of Western Connecticut’s Financial Resource Center. Mrs. Corprew volunteers for United Way by teaching these educational workshops.

The class, titled “Money matters”, was taught bilingually and covered topics including: budgeting, spending habits, estimating expenses, increasing income, and other aspects of educated financial decision making. “Judi is making a significant difference by teaching financial literacy workshops as well as working one on one with low to middle income households. We are so thankful to Judi and all of our volunteer financial coaches that support financial literacy education in our communities,” said Karen Mello, Director of Financial Stability for United Way of Western Connecticut.

Judith Corprew has more than 30 years of financial experience with a focus in risk management. She is a graduate of Rutgers University and has her Master’s degree in Business Administration (M.B.A) from Post University in Waterbury, CT. Judith is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association and the Bank Compliance Association of Connecticut.
