Staffing Changes at P2P Norwalk

Staffing Changes Will Enhance Service Delivery and Community Outreach at the Norwalk Office

Ed Kearns Appointed Community Outreach Manager in Norwalk. Ed Kearns, who formerly served as Norwalk Site Manager, is assuming responsibility for recruiting volunteers, organizing food drives and donations, and working more closely with funders and corporate teams in Norwalk and the towns of Weston, Westport and Wilton. With a professional background in sales, proven capabilities in building successful relationships in the community and deep hands-on knowledge of Norwalk operations, Kearns brings significant experience to this newly-created position.

“We are all excited about Ed taking on this new role,” says Director of Development Dave Crandall. “He is passionate about helping low-income families, he has an in-depth knowledge of our Norwalk office, and his enthusiasm is contagious. He will be a great ambassador for Person-to-Person.”

Callie M. Jayne Appointed Norwalk Site Manager. Callie M. Jayne will be responsible for all operational matters at the Norwalk office, including volunteer management, shift scheduling and Food Pantry inventory. Having recently served as a Masters-candidate Intern at Person-to-Person in Darien, Jayne contributed to a variety of projects across all departments. According to Director of Volunteers Janet King, Jayne was a key participant in development of a robust online resource for individuals to search volunteer opportunities and schedule volunteer shifts at the Darien and Norwalk offices. “From the first day of her internship, Callie demonstrated her resourcefulness and organizational skills, which will serve us well in her new position.”

Jayne has several years of professional experience in educational admissions and has been actively involved in the nonprofit sector, having organized a fundraiser concert for Bridgeport tornado victims, established a corporate team to support children in Haiti affected by the 2010 earthquake, and counseled students on strategies to help them graduate. Jayne is completing a Masters of Human Services in Nonprofit Management at Post University.
