Paint, Draw & More! & Georgetown School of the Arts Announce Winter Classes
Paint, Draw & More! announces Winter classes to be held through the Wilton Continuing Education on Mondays and Tuesdays. Monday’s Cartooning 1 Class will be held at Cider Mill School. The Winter Session runs January 12 – March 16 from 2:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. for ages 8-11. Learn to create cartoon characters, super heroes and comic strips! Students will learn to develop characters and story lines with associated dramatic illustration. The first few classes will concentrate on drawing and technique which students will then apply while designing and drawing their own projects for the rest of the session. $195.00 per eight- week session.
Tuesday’s Drawing Mixed Media class will be held at the Miller Driscoll School. The Winter Session runs January 13 – March 3 from 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. for ages 5-8. Children will learn to draw in a non-judgmental, creative environment. They will use a variety of materials to draw what they see and to enhance their drawings with their own creative ideas. Drawing concepts like design, shading, and perspective will all be taught by Steve Burke. We will use pencils, markers, watercolors, pastels, etc. $195.00 per eight- week session.
