Landmark Launches "3s for 3s" Program

Landmark Preschool in the Georgetown section of Redding is pleased to announce the addition of a partial day program for 3-year-olds. Beginning this fall, parents will have the option of enrolling their child in "3s for 3s" - a 3 days per week, 3 hours per day, abbreviated Landmark program.

"We are excited to add "3s for 3s" to our program offerings", stated Ann Hirsch, Director of Landmark Preschool's Redding campus. "We had received feedback that families are interested in our early childhood programs, but are seeking a shorter day and lower price point. We listened and created this offering especially for them. We've been educating young children for over 40 years in Georgetown and want a Landmark education to be accessible to all children. It is our intention that "3s for 3s" will be a natural entry point for more families to join us."

A typical day in the "3s for 3s" program will begin at 8:30 am and include free choice time, recess and a morning snack. Art projects and an age appropriate introduction to math concepts, handwriting and early literacy skills through fun games and activities will round out each day. Pick up time is 11:30 am. Children must turn 3 years old by December 31, 2015 and be toilet trained to attend this program. Class size will be limited to twelve children, with a head teacher and an assistant. Annual tuition is $6,000, including a $1,500 deposit to hold the child's space in the class. Interested families are encouraged to schedule a school visit in February, as enrollment is done on a first-come, first-served basis.

In addition to this new program, families seeking a longer day, more days per week and/or a more comprehensive curriculum will still have the option of attending Landmark's traditional Threes program. In addition to the activities included in the "3s for 3s" program, students in Landmark's Threes program participate in music, physical education and Spanish each week. In-house field trips, library time, cooking, science and interaction with SmartBoard technology compliment this program's monthly themes. The Threes' day concludes at 2 pm, after lunch, rest time and additional educational activity time. Before and after care hours are also offered.  Children must turn 3 years old by December 31, 2015and be toilet trained to attend this program. Enrollment for Landmark Preschool began in January for the 2015-2016 school year.
