Norwalk River Valley Trail is Making it's Way to Wilton

The dedicated members of the Norwalk River Valley Trail have been hard at work creating a Wilton end of the trail. This will allow Wilton residents to take part in the well-known local Norwalk River Valley Trail.

According to their Facebook page, workers are getting closer to finish up the trail. With summer coming to an end and the transition of Fall just around the corner, the trail will be ready for this beautiful New England tradition. However, only with continued help from the community will ensure completion by Labor Day.

For now, Josh and Heather's tape measure marks the end of the newest section of the NRVT. This section (running north from Sharp Hill Road in Wilton) is still under construction, but should be ready for public use by Labor Day.

It seems a good time to remember that further progress on the NRVT -- in Wilton and our four sister communities -- will happen with your continuing generous support

The group encourages those that can to continue to support the expansion of the trail. Donations are still be excepted and without them this project would not be possible.
