Bringing Fitness to New Heights: Elevation is Pumped Up at Nine

We are proud to welcome Elevation (Spin, Train, TRX) to our family of sponsors!

Michelle Maturo, owner of Elevation was Spinning before it was 'cool'. Seriously. As an experienced fitness professional and avid road cyclist,  she has coached and motivated clients for nearly 20 years both on and off the road.

In 2007, Elevation opened its doors as the first dedicated Spinning studio in the Ridgefield/Wilton area. It quickly earned a favorable reputation for an indoor cycling experience that was first and foremost inspired by road cycling.  Maturo says, "We've stayed true to our roots because it works. We teach a ride that is based in heart rate energy zones with cadence monitoring keeping the experience as 'true to the road' as possible".

This November will mark the beginning of Elevation's 9th year in business.  "I am really proud not only of the community we've created, but of the expertise we are able to offer our clients here in such a intimate studio."

In 2010 Elevation expanded to include more personal training, physical therapy, nutritional counseling and group fitness options including Functional Training, Kettlebells and TRX Suspension Training. Maturo adds "Expanding was what really turned Elevation into a community rather than just a place to take a Spinning class."

Elevation classes are led by Maturo and her staff of experienced trainers, and class sizes are kept small to ensure personal attention. "The small group training sessions are really popular and clients are really seeing remarkable results once they add strength training to their fitness program"

Elevation offers over 20 classes a week in Spinning and TRX, as well as functional training clinics and personal training by appointment.

You can sign up for a spin class ($20) or a 10-class card ($170). TRX classes are $25 each. To learn more about pricing & programs contact Elevation at www.elevationspintraintrx.com

Elevation is located at 4 Old Mill Road in Georgetown.
