Cultural Alliance Celebrates Norwalk's Art Galleries

On Wednesday evening, January 18th, the Cultural Alliance of Fairfield County (CAFC) makes Norwalk the next stop on their second annual Progressive Gallery Tour of Fairfield County. On that evening, three of Norwalk's commercial galleries open their doors to CAFC and art supporters:The Artists' Market, LOVE ART Gallery, and Galeria Isadora. Art patrons and supporters are encouraged to come and enjoy the festivities: wine, hors d’oeuvres, networking and discovery!

The schedule for the Norwalk stop of the Progressive Gallery Tour on January 18th is as follows:

6pm: Artists’ Market, 163 Main Street, Owner Jeff Price will give a talk at 6:30pm about the gallery and an exhibition of photographs of political activists from the Watergate era.

7pm: Participants are invited to re-assemble at the LOVE ART Gallery, 132 Washington Street. Owner and artist Cabell Molina will give a talk about her gallery at 7:15pm.

7:30pm: Tour moves next door to Galería Isadora, where Isadora will give a talk at 7:45pm.

CAFC's Annual Progressive Gallery Tour was launched in 2016 to bring artists, cultural nonprofits, and creative business members of CAFC together to celebrate the richness and variety of the organization's commercial art gallery members across Fairfield County. The tour progresses monthly, visiting one town each month. The tour began in September at the C.Parker Gallery and Isabella Garucho Fine Art Gallery in Greenwich, and in November moved on to the Fernando Luis Alvarez Gallery in downtown Stamford. In December, CAFC was able to join the New Canaan Holiday Stroll with three commercial gallery members: Handwright Gallery & Framing, Heather Gaudio Fine Art, and the Sorelle Gallery. And in February CAFC will progress eastward toward Westport visiting the Amy Simon Fine Art Gallery and the Nylen Gallery.
