RMACT: The Heartbeat of Community

Reproductive Medicine Associates of Connecticut (RMACT) has one goal: to help their patients succeed in building the family they desire.

How do they make that happen? RMA of Connecticut's’ skilled medical professionals work as a close-knit team, combining the intricacies of science and medicine.

“Whenever I see a new patient at RMA Connecticut the most important thing I get across is that you are not alone. One in 6 people have trouble conceiving and building a family and that’s why we’re here,” explains Dr. Joshua Hurwitz, Senior Physician and Partner at RMA of Connecticut.

“The whole practice is here to help you and support you, and we have a team to do that. I think that’s what separates us from other practices, “ says Spencer Richlin, M.D.

RMA of Connecticut patients speak candidly about their experience building a family. “Fertility is a difficult journey, I felt supported all the way, “ says Kelly Fitzpatrick, who adds, “It's a family-feel”.

RMA of Connecticut has helped Ridgefield resident Heather Salaga give birth to two beautiful, healthy children. She explains it like this, “The [RMA of Connecticut] fertility team consists of a real life superhero team led by a real life batman, Dr. Joshua Hurwitz. There are just not enough words to say about what a fabulous team there is here.”

RMA of Connecticut boasts Integrated fertility and Wellness program (IFW) which includes nutritional counseling, peer led support groups, acupuncture, and even free yoga classes. There are clinical social workers on staff who run support groups and see patients individually.

And, at the heart of RMA of Connecticut is community. Robin Mangieri RMACT's Chief Executive Officer, says it best. “We are proud members of this community and we know that in this practice we are treating our sisters, and our friends, and our neighbors and we take that really seriously. A lot of us, myself included, have been patients here.”
