Where In the World – A Visual Celebration of Wilton's Heritage Through the Eyes of Its Children

On Saturday, February 25 (10AM to 5PM) and Sunday February 26 (1PM to 5PM), the Wilton EDC and Wilton Library would like to celebrate Wilton's diversity by inviting families to mark their countries of ancestry on a large wall map that will be on display in the gallery. During this time, children will be invited to decorate paper squares in images reflecting their cultural heritage – these squares will then be constructed into a paper quilt that will be displayed in the Children's Library.

“We thought that this would be a fun way to illustrate Wilton’s growing cultural diversity in a way that is visually impactful. We hope that this evolves to become a larger cultural celebration in future years,” said EDC Chair, Vivian Lee-Shiue.
