Weir Farm Kicks Off National Parks Week with Junior Ranger Celebration

Weir Farm National Historic Site and Friends of Weir Farm will kick off National Park Week on Saturday, April 15 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm with a spectacular Junior Ranger Day Celebration. This event is free.

Friends of Weir Farm will engage Junior Rangers of all ages in "Junior Ranger 101."

Participants will learn about park resources, discover the Weir and Young Studios with a Junior Ranger I-Spy activity, create their very own Junior Ranger Hat, and earn the highly coveted Junior Ranger Badge.

For social media fans, there will be a giant frame and paintbrush, as well as lots of fun props for selfies of you in your new hat! All of the activities are free and open to the public (of all ages) and will be held rain or shine.

Come out to explore, learn, and protect your national park!
