Best Suburbs to Live in Connecticut? Wilton Makes the List!

It's heart warming to see that in a report by Niche.com - the following towns are the best places to live in Connecticut and NEW CANAAN is number 2 out 63! I don't hide the fact that I love our town, with its population of 20,219. It has a plethora of restaurants and bars, miles of sidewalk, first class schools, beautiful parks, stunning architecture, a train service to the city and a fantastic community spirit. The only part of the report which scored a C- was the weather, but what can we do about that?

The 2017 Best Suburbs to Live ranking provides a comprehensive assessment of the overall livability of an area at the suburb level. This grade takes into account several key factors of a location, including the quality of local schools, crime rates, housing trends, employment statistics, and access to amenities in an attempt to measure the overall quality of an area.
