Have You Dined at Romolo Yet? Save Room for Dessert

Save room for dessert

Romolo Gastro Pizza, the brainchild of Chopped champion, Germano Minin, and pizza master, Bruno DiFabio, isn’t all about handmade pastas, salads, house-made meatballs and unforgettable pizza.

Enter the sweeter side Ridgefield’s new Roman-style pizzeria (stop reading here if you have a sweet-tooth and/or are very hungry).

Tartufo

Chocolate covered vanilla and chocolate ice cream ball with cherry center.

Tiramisu

Layered biscotti infused with espresso, cognac, and mascarpone custard.

Budino

Rich, creamy butterscotch pudding served with dulce de leche and chantilly cream.

“All of our desserts are house-made,” says DiFabio. What’s more,  family heirloom recipes are used to create the Italian Tiramisu and Budino (butterscotch pudding). “These are the same recipes my grandma and her sister taught me in Italy on my nineteenth birthday - almost thirty years ago,” says DiFabio.

Couple your dessert with an after-dinner drink or an Italian coffee for a complete Romolo experience.

Romolo Gastro Pizza is Ridgefield’s underground dining experience. Enter from the parking lot behind 378 Main Street.
