3/11 A resident of Old Wagon Rd called to report hearing what she thought was a gunshot around 5:30 pm. However shortly thereafter realized that a neighbors mailbox appeared blown up.  The mailbox appeared to have been damaged by an unknown type of firework.

3/16 Two workers at Mrs. Green's stated that a co-worker, a 30 year old Bridgeport man, had been uttering to himself about shooting people through out the day on Sunday 3/16/14.  Prior to closing, he changed his clothes and uttered "I'm going to get my gun" before going out the front door of the grocery store.  This alarmed co-workers who contacted the WPD.  No firearms were located during the course of the investigation.  He was issued a Misdemeanor Summons for Breach of Peace.  He was assigned a court date.

3/17 On March 17 at approximately 8:55 am, the Principal of Cider Mill School contacted the WPD to make a complaint against a male parent who make threatening comments toward two other school staff members during a phone conversation the two were having with the parent.  The parent, a 54 year old Wilton man, was reported to be enraged and was yelling and cursing at the staff members.  During the course of the phone conversation, he reportedly threatened to throw a chair at them, find out where they lived, and that he would retaliate.  The phone conversation terminated shortly thereafter.  The staff members stated to the investigating officers that the threatening comments made were causing them concern.  He was located at his residence by officers where he was placed under arrest.  He was transported to WPD where he was processed and charged with Disorderly Conduct and Threatening Second Degree.  He posted $2500 bond and was issued a court date.

3/17 At approximately 9:53 am Wilton Police received a burglary alarm notification at a residence on Thayer Pond Rd.  Responding officers checked the exterior of the home and found that a rear window leading into the garage had been pried open.  The perpetrator entered the home through the garage and minor ransacking was noted in upstairs bedrooms.  An inventory of stolen property is pending.  Jewelry suspected to be missing.  Further investigation pending.
