The Wilton Board of Assessment Appeals of the Town of Wilton will meet to hear appeals and to make determinations thereupon, relating to the assessed valuation of real and personal property of said Town in the month of March, 2015.
Property owners must file a petition to the Board of Assessment Appeals on or before Friday, February 20, 2015 to be scheduled for a hearing date. Petitions must be filed in the Assessor’s Office by 4:30 p.m. February 20, 2015. The Board of Assessment Appeals will notify the petitioner of the specific date, time and place of their hearing.
Pursuant to Connecticut General Statutes, the Board of Assessment Appeals cannot hear appeals for petitions filed after February 20, 2015. If a petition is postmarked February 20, 2015 but received by the Assessor’s Office on Monday, February 23, 2015 or later the Board of Assessment Appeals will not grant a hearing.
Petitions are available in the Assessor’s Office between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. beginning Monday, February 2, 2015
