“Our delegates will have a role in choosing Republican candidates to represent Wilton in Hartford and in Washington,” said Wilton RTC Chairman Al Alper.  “At the state level, we will be returning Reps. Lavielle and O’Dea, along with Senator Boucher, who have been leaders in promoting pro-business, responsible solutions to try and reverse our state’s downward economic spiral.

“This year the Republican Party has a tremendous opportunity to take control back of our state house and senate, after too many years of wasteful spending and anti-business policies of the Democrat party that have driven jobs from our State,” Alper added.

“And at the federal level, Connecticut has been ill-served by an all-Democrat Congressional delegation.  Our House members, along with Senators Blumenthal and Murphy have been willing participants in President Obama’s failed economic agenda that have hurt the very people they promised to help.  I am confident that Connecticut Republicans will nominate smart, experienced candidates to represent us in Washington,” Alper added.
