Reported Stabbing in Lewisboro; State Police investigate alleged attack in the Town of Lewisboro

Lewisboro, New York - On August 13, 2014 at approximately 11:30 p.m., uniformed members of the New York State Police Somers barracks responded to the area of Bouton Street and Gilbert Street for a reported assault.

Investigation revealed that the female victim was walking a dog when she stated that she was grabbed from behind and assaulted. The suspect then reportedly stabbed her several times on the side of her abdomen before fleeing the area on foot. The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The victim believes that the attacker was a white male, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and jeans.
