Wilton Police received a report of an individual soliciting in the area of Pine Ridge Road. Upon making contact with the individual he did state his name was Frank Bret Cole and he did not have any state issued ID and explained he was from Texas.
Due to Cole being from out of state, having no valid form of ID, and violating town ordinance, he was taking in custody to learn his identity.
It was later discovered through record checks and fingerprints that the individual was using aliases in order to avoid being caught for having an active arrest warrant from Dallas, Texas.
The individual was identified as Mark Alan Cole and he was charged with Interfering with an Officer, Criminal Impersonation, and the original charge of Solicitation.
Cole is being held on $5000 bond and was arraigned in Norwalk Superior Court, Friday, October 9th.
