On 11/07/15 James Benjamin of Fairfield, CT, turned himself in on an arrest warrant issued following his involvement in a physical altercation which took place on 10/10/15 at a party in Wilton.
Benjamin exchanged verbal threats with another male guest at the party, and a physical confrontation between the two ensued. Several people had to intervene to separate the two men.
As a result of the physical confrontation the other guest, the current boyfriend of Benjamin's ex-wife, sustained injuries for which he sought treatment at the Norwalk Hospital ER.
Benjamin was charged with one account of Assault in the Third Degree and one count of Disorderly Conduct. Benjamin posted the court set $25,000 bond and is scheduled to appear at Norwalk Superior Court on 11/19/15.
