Wilton's Seeley Road to be Completely Closed Beginning April 8th

Beginning April 8, 2016 at approximately 10:00am there will be a complete road closure of Seeley Road. The road is expected to remain closed until April 14, 2016 at approximately 4:00pm. The road closure is due to work being performed by the Metro-North Commuter Railroad, which consists of upgrading the Seeley Road railroad/highway at-grade crossing on the Danbury Branch of the Metro-North Commuter Railroad. The upgrading includes the replacement of the existing crossing surface. A detour will be implemented via fixed message signs.

In addition, on Saturday (April 9, 2016) and Sunday (April 10, 2016) there will be no train service between Danbury and South Norwalk. Metro-North Commuter Railroad will be providing bus service during these times (please refer to MTA website for more information). Train service is expected to resume on schedule Monday, April 11, 2016.
