Wilton Police Traffic Stop Results in Arrest

A female from Bridgeport was stopped by Wilton police for failing to display a front license plate on her vehicle. After officers spoke with her they detected an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. 

A search of the vehicle was done and a small amount of marijuana was found. No other contraband was located inside the vehicle. During the stop it was found that she had lied to officers about who she was and that she had an active arrest warrant from a 2010 incident in Bridgeport.

Due to previously Failing to Appear, she was taken into custody and processed a Police Headquarters and her bond was set at $10,000.
