Wilton Police Reports; Drug Possession and DUI

The Wilton Police had received a motor vehicle complaint on August 8, near Route 33, about a GMC with VT registration. Allegedly the vehicle was reported swerving all over the road. The GMC was located and the vehicle had pulled over to the side of the road before Police even activated the emergency lights.

The operator was waving his arms out the window to get attention. He said he was lost. The operator gave Police a false name, but his true identity was learned a short time later.

The operator was searched and located on him were all different kinds of prescription pills (pain killers, Valium) which were not prescribed to him. Other items of contraband were also found inside the GMC.

Aaron Montgomery, 26, of Springfield, VT, was charged with Possession of Narcotic, Interfering, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Illegal Storage of a Narcotic.

On August 5, 2016, operator, Corey Boudreau, 22, of New Milford, was observed asleep in the driver side front seat with the vehicle running and his foot on the brakes. Attempting to get his attention, the operator took his foot off the brakes and the vehicle rolled backwards. He then accelerated forward, stopped and fell back asleep.

He was later found to be under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. Boudreau was charged with a DUI.
