On November 14 at 1:05pm, Wilton Police arrested 49 year old Howard Williams of Stamford for:
- Criminal Trespass (fishing in a reservoir), operating a MV with a suspended license and revoked registration
- Failure to respond to a violation (illegal fishing in reservoir)
Williams was located fishing illegally in at the South Norwalk Reservoir in Wilton. Upon investigation, it was learned that there was an active arrest for the individual. It was a PRAWN Warrant for failing to respond to a violation. The original charge was also Illegal Fishing in a Reservoir. The original incident took place at the same reservoir in Wilton. Williams was charged accordingly and assigned a $500 cash or surety bond. He was also held on a $250 court set cash bond for the arrest warrant. He posted bond and was given a court date of 11/21/16 at Norwalk Superior Court.
On November 18 Wilton Police arrested 22 year old Jack Gannon of Ridgefield with traveling unreasonably fast. Police were conducting a laser enforcement just north of Honey Hill Road. They observed Gannon traveling at a high rate of speed on Danbury Road. Police followed Gannon in an unmarked patrol car. The accused picked up speed and passed another officer who was out of her car on a traffic stop further north on Danbury Road. Upon stopping and making contact with the operator, he displayed signs of intoxication. Gannon was arrested and transported to Wilton PD HQ for processing following field sobriety testing.
On November 20 at approximately 9:15 pm, a MV was stopped on Roxbury Lane at the intersection of Roxbury and Wolfpit Lane for traveling 56MPH in a designated 30MPH. The occupants, Jacob Ellison, Rhys Evershed, and Sean Winterhold, all 18 years of age and from Wilton, were found in possession of several containers of alcohol. They were issued a citation for: Possession of Alcohol by a Minor and the contraband was seized and destroyed.
On November 20 at approximately 8:34 pm, an officer who was assigned Selective Enforcement for holiday patrol stopped a Honda Civic for a rear license plate not illuminated. The drive admitted to having marijuana in the car and handed the officer two plastic bags and a smoking pipe. A search of the car yielded s scale and metal grinder. The driver was issued an infraction for the possession, and a warning for the lights.
