Wilton Police report car and home burglaries

The Wilton Police Department is urging residents to secure their vehicle(s) and lock their residences so they do not fall victim to crime. In recent weeks, there has been a rise in vehicle and residential burglaries and two stolen vehicles, both of which were stolen while parked in the driveway with the keys in the unsecure vehicle.

 SECURE your residence and set your alarm

 LOCK your vehicle

 Do not leave valuables in plain view: conceal or remove

 Be vigilant of your surroundings

 If you see a suspicious person or vehicle, please call 911 or the Wilton Police Department at (203) 834-6260, immediately. Don’t wait!

 If possible, obtain as much information concerning the suspicious person / vehicle
