Wilton Police Arrest Third Suspect in Connection with Car Burglaries

On June 16, 2017 Wilton Police Detectives arrested Andrew Reed Aultman (pictured left) age 36 of Bristol, CT. Aultman is the third subject arrested in relation to two car burglaries that occurred in the Rivergate Drive and West Meadow Road areas of town during the overnight hours of December 21 – 22, 2016.

Investigation revealed that a short time after the car burglaries that a victim’s credit cards had been used in Waterbury and Southington, CT.

A review of video surveillance revealed Andrew Aultman, Jay Crump Jr. (top right), and Michael Mallardi (bottom right) as suspects. Crump Jr. and Mallardi have already been arrested as a result of the incident.

All three (3) males have been charged with multiple counts of burglary and larceny, as well as identity theft.
